TIMWA – Taiwan Indonesian Migrant Workers’ Association was formally organized on February 9, 2003 at HOME with the leadership of Flora Rosariana together with her friends and the support of TIWA. Their primary goal is to provide a mutual support network among Indonesians migrant workers especially for those caretakers and domestic helpers who are isolated compared to those working in the factories. This common factor makes TIMWA strong in unity and solidarity with other migrant workers group. Since their establishment, they were able to hold major labor workshops and education seminars including different cultural activities with other groups, even in other areas. Their association boost of 100 members as of date.
